I just wanted to say that I love you all! Mwah!
In a few hours I’m going to be back on a bus, and I will be arriving at Melbourne tomorrow morning.
I don’t really have anything much to say on this post. Sydney has nothing exciting going on, as usual… but wait! I do have one bit of news. I actually met a backpacker who is older than me! The roommate I had the last couple of days in Sydney is 30 years old and she is pretty much in the exact same boat as me. She is here in Australia until March and then she has to go back to her country and decide what she wants to do with her life. Woohoo! I’m only 29! I finally beat someone! It’s been sort of funny that the only people I meet are basically kids between the ages of 18 and 24. We are at completely different stages of life. They are in the college/party all night long stage, and I have already finished college and I’m supposed to be in the grown up stage and have a career and a house and all that fun stuff. It’s definitely been interesting. I really enjoy meeting people closer to my own age because I have a lot more in common with them than an 18 year old. But, I guess as backpacker travelers go, I am pretty old to be doing it.
Hopefully I’ll have more pictures to upload for you guys next time I write. Maybe exciting things will happen on my 12-hour bus ride, who knows!
I also wanted to say, in the spirit of Valentine’s day, that I really appreciate everyones comments and emails. It’s really lovely when I log into my yahoo account and see “9 new messages!” flashing at me, so thank you.
